Step 4 of our method is “Love Yourself Enough To Be Proactive”
This is a deep dive into a new kind of healthcare!
Step 1: Breathe, Step 2: Observe, and Step 3: Apply are all still in response to pain! They are still ‘Reactive Healthcare”! But. . . positively reactive.
Here is how it works: you feel pain and have an immediate negative reaction, but you remember your steps and breathe, observe and apply which makes you feel immediately better and changes your response from negative to positive.
Negative Reaction to pain brings more pain! Positive Reaction to pain brings long term healing!
Proactive self-love is the opposite of reactive healthcare! You work on stuff to feel good, not to fix something that is wrong!
Proactive healthcare is small steps and habits that slowly build up to form a solid healthcare foundation. An exercise program, daily nature walks, a vitamin regime, a yoga & meditation practice, drinking your water, etc. Proactive healthcare feels good to you and comes from a guided place. You wake up in the morning and Intuitively know that 20 minutes of yoga is the perfect thing for this day!
If you are unkind to yourself about missing a day of yoga or forgetting your vitamins, it is no longer proactive healthcare. You are simply doing it to tick a box on your to-do list or to fix a problem! There is a subtle difference between being proactive and being reactive, but one worth noting. . . because proactive healthcare puts you in the frequency of the solution, where you heal fast and furiously, while reactive healthcare often drops you into the frequency of the problem where it is a longer, slower journey.
We find that the best combination is a positive reaction to pain using steps 1, 2 & 3 in the moment that you feel the discomfort, while simultaneously cultivating proactive daily habits of love that feel good to you. They do not have to be big things. . . just little acts of self-love that add up to big results!
We love providing proactive breathing patterns on our social media platforms and we run a 8-month program each October to May called Breath Therapy, which embodies all of the elements of our healing method and takes you on a proactive healthcare journey through all the systems of your body.
Our 4 steps to vibrant health - breathe. observe. apply. love. will not only decrease your immediate pain and help to resolve your chronic long-term issues. . . they will also lead you on a spiritual journey towards your authentic joy, freedom and expansion!
