OHM Step #3 ~ APPLY

How have things been going?? The last 2 Blogs, I have talked about BREATHE (OHM Step 1) and OBSERVE (OHM Step 2)as the first steps in responding to pain our stress in our lives.

Last week we explored how observing our thoughts during moments of pain or stress provides us with insight into our healing journey. We talked about how pain is not just physical and stress is not just emotional; instead, both are deeply connected to our mental and energetic patterns.

Once we BREATHE (Step 1) and OBSERVE (Step 2), we are ready for APPLY (Step 3)…Applying a Pain Reduction Tool…

If you’re like me, then step 3 is often where we start as we embark on our healing journey… by “doing something” to fix the pain or when stress ramps up:

Now don’t get me wrong… there is nothing wrong with being in “fix it” mode and applying a pain reduction tool!

But here’s the thing…

If we apply a tool before we breathe and observe, then our “fix it” mode is coming from the Frequency of the Problem.

In this state, our inner dialogue often sounds like:

This reactive energy, even when we’re doing something healthy, keeps us stuck… stuck in reacting to our problem, rather than proactively preventing our pain.

The Frequency of the Problem prolongs discomfort, increases frustration, and makes the healing process feel slow and discouraging.

WELCOME to Step 3!

This step is all about waiting until your energy shifts (from problem into solution) before you choose what tool or action to apply.

Once you take a breath and observe the thought behind the pain

These negative thoughts may sound like:

From the energetic state of the Frequency of the Solution it’s easier to know what you need…

Your inner wisdom is always guiding you! I fully understand how easy it is to ignore these intuitive nudges, but we encourage you to trust that first quiet whisper.

When our energy is calm, the right application is often the first thing that pops into your mind after having taken a breath and having observed your thoughts. 😮‍💨💭

This is what we call intuitive guidance from the Frequency of the Solution… and it is from this proactive state that you will build your own “tool belt” of practices that work perfectly for you.

You’ll begin to recognize the subtle signals from your amazing body, and you’ll know exactly what tool to apply in any moment 🧡
