Frequency of the Solution

Living in the Frequency of the Solution

September 16, 20258 min read

When a challenge shows up in life, most of us instinctively zero in on the problem. We analyze it, replay it in our minds, talk about it with others, and allow its weight to take up space in our thoughts and emotions. While facing the problem is necessary, staying stuck in the loop of what’s wrong can drain energy and block our ability to see a way forward.

Living in the frequency of the solution means shifting your focus from the weight of the problem to the possibilities of a solution. It’s not about ignoring reality, fake positivity or pretending difficulties don’t exist. It’s about cultivating a mindset that makes solutions easier to recognize and act upon.

Let’s talk about FREQUENCY…

Everything has a vibrational frequency… humans, animals, plants, objects, thoughts, emotions, and even the words we speak.

Problems hold the energy of resistance, fear, and limitation, while solutions carry the energy of possibility, trust, and expansion. When you live in the frequency of the solution, you align your inner state with clarity, curiosity, and openness rather than allowing the heaviness of the problem become the truth of your reality.

This doesn’t mean ignoring problems or bypassing your feelings …. never!

Instead, it’s about choosing to orientate your awareness toward the vibrational frequency of what you want to call in rather than what you feel stuck in.

The Shift… From Problem to Solution

Think of your mindset as a pair of prescription glasses…

Let’s compare prescription glasses with these two frequencies… when the glasses are smudged, we will equate this to the frequency of the problem; when the glasses are clean, we will equate this to the frequency of the solution.

Imagine reading a how-to article on your phone or laptop with smudged glasses. You can see that the phone or laptop is on and even that you’re on the right page, but everything appears distorted, and hard to comprehend. Instead of just cleaning your glasses, you continue to struggle and squint, without ever really understanding why the article won’t come into focus.

On the other hand, when your glasses are clean and clear they allow your vision to be sharp and in focus. The same article on your phone or laptop now looks different… you can clearly assess its opportunities and resources. In turn, this allows you to think more creatively about possible next steps.

Your ‘glasses’ don’t change your reality… instead they change your perception of reality and help direct your attention, influence your choices, and ultimately shape your results.

Here’s another analogy…

Think about a radio… you can’t listen to 101.5 FM if you’re tuned into 99.3 AM. The frequency of the problem and the solution work exactly the same way; you cannot hear the frequency of the solution if you are tuned into the frequency of the problem.

We’ve all had the experience of not being able to solve something… we may then hyper-focus on the situation, keeping ourselves stuck in the frequency of the problem. The best thing we can do for ourselves is to take a break… go for a walk outside or take a bath.

This act of taking a break serves as a pattern interrupt… allowing us to switch to a new thought frequency… aka new radio station… and allowing room for a solution to appear.

One last analogy…

There’s an old Cherokee tale about the two wolves within each of us… one is good, and one is bad. When a grandmother was asked, ‘which one will win’? Her reply was, ‘the one you feed’.

These wolves represent our vibrational frequencies within:

  • When we focus (feed) the frequency of the problem… our problems win

  • When we focus (feed) the frequency of the solution… our solutions win and provide a way forward

Training your mindset to stay in a state where problem-solving, resilience, and resourcefulness naturally thrive will guide you to grow in your clarity and confidence… supporting you in moving toward solutions instead of allowing yourself to stay stuck in the feeling of the problem.

The Shift… Practical Applications

We have provided some insight, guides and steps that you can take anywhere and anytime you find yourself wrestling with the frequency of a problem(s).

#1 ~ Pause before reacting…

Problems can trigger emotional responses. Before spiraling into worry, frustration or fear… pause, take a breath, and ask yourself:

  • Am I fueling the problem, or am I ready to focus on what can move me forward?

  • Simply becoming aware of where your attention is going can shift the entire experience. This small gap helps your brain switch from emotional reactivity to logical problem-solving.

  • What emotions am I feeling right now?

  • Sometimes emotions are like toddlers… if you ignore them, they may have a tantrum but simply acknowledging that they exist can often calm them down.

  • Once you have identified your emotions refer to ‘Dr. R Hawkins’ Map of Consciousness’ link included at the end of this blog to assess where on the frequency scale your current emotions land.

#2 ~ Clarify what is in your control…

Not every piece of a problem is yours to solve. Instead of obsessing over how to fix something, ask yourself the following:

  • What do I have influence over right now? What’s outside of my control?

  • Focusing your energy on what you can affect immediately lightens the load and creates momentum toward a solution.

#3 ~ Visualize the outcome you want…

Instead of hyper-focusing on what might go wrong, how about hyper-focusing on what might go RIGHT! 😉 Ask yourself the following:

  • How do I want to feel when this is resolved? Calm? Supported? Empowered?

  • Make a list of 3-5 words that feel positive, hopeful, empowering, etc to YOU right now.

  • Now set a timer for 68 seconds… and imagine feeling the feelings these positive words evoke within you.

  • By practicing the feeling of these feelings now, (yes, especially before the problem is solved) you prime your brain to notice opportunities and solutions that align with that outcome.

  • Again, refer to ‘Dr. R Hawkins’ Map of Consciousness’ included at the end of this blog to identify the higher vibrational emotions that you may want to focus on.

  • Repeat this 68 second visualization as many times throughout your day as you wish!! (why 68 seconds? Refer to the 17 second rule link at the end of this blog)

NOTE: Please don’t give up… practicing this can feel awkward and unnatural, but it is only with continued practice that the vibration of these solution-based feelings will become your default state. 🤍

#4 ~ Shift into solution-oriented language…

The words we use matter and shape how we think. Reframing your language helps your brain stay open to new options instead of focusing on ways to ‘get-used-to’ or survive the problem. Here are some examples for you to try:

  • Notice if you have an emotional change to each of the sayings below.

  • Instead of saying, “I can’t handle this,” ~ try, “I’m learning how to navigate this.

  • Instead of saying, “I’ll never figure this out” ~ try “I trust the solution is revealing itself to me.”

  • The italicized phrase anchors you in the problem; while the bolded phrase lifts your vibration into solution possibilities.

  • Continue this exercise by thinking of phrases you find yourself using when things are not going your way. Take note if these phrases are based in the frequency of the problem or the frequency of the solution.

  • Make any changes required for your phases to reflect the solution(s) you most desire.

#5 ~ Use tools to shift your energy…

When we emotionally react to problems that arise by feeling victimized or threatened, we engage our sympathetic nervous system, or our ‘fight or flight’ response… in this state our main goal is to ‘survive the danger’ being perceived, rather than looking for logical solutions.

  • Tools like journaling, taking a walk, meditation or practicing deep breathing are highly effective tools to help reset your nervous system.

  • When your nervous system is calm, your energy naturally rises to a more solution-oriented frequency, and you’ll often see options you didn’t see before.

Why This Matters…

Research in psychology shows that focusing on solutions instead of problems increases resilience, reduces stress, and even improves decision-making. When you train yourself to live in the frequency of the solution, your energy field changes because you free up mental energy that would otherwise be consumed by worry or frustration.

You become more magnetic to opportunities, insights, and synchronicities that match the higher vibration of possibilities that you desire. What once felt overwhelming becomes manageable. What once seemed impossible begins to reveal a pathway forward.

Solutions don’t always come from forcing or overthinking, instead they often arrive when you’ve shifted into openness, trust, and a willingness to receive.

Living in the frequency of the solution is ultimately about choosing trust in yourself over fear of the unknown, alignment over struggle, and possibility over punishment. Instead of being weighed down by obstacles, you become someone who actively seeks, creates, and steps into possibility… and in doing so, you become both the receiver and the creator of solutions that support your highest good. It is from here that challenges become opportunities to grow stronger, wiser, and more capable.
